These XL are big and fun! They are slightly bigger than a tennis ball. They are great as cat toys or some DIY crafts. You can sew on beads or embroider on them to make some heirloom pincushions. Great for making Christmas ornaments too! Let your imaginations soar with these colorful beauties.
To make pincushion, cut a ball in half, a large bread knife will work, and pop it into a 3" embroidery hoop. Cut a piece of felt the size of the hoop and hot glue it to bottom of the felt ball and hoop. This will give the pincushion and nice smooth backing. Voila!

These felt balls are imported from a manufacturer in Nepal that practices fair trade. This means they pay fair wages, have good working condition, and do not employ child labor. Azo free dyes are were used to make the balls. Felt balls are handmade with wool fibers. Soap, hot water, and gentle agitation is used to form these felt balls by hand.
