Project Ideas
* wet felting
* Nuno felting
* needle felting
* loom weaving
* chunky arm knitting - makes gorgeous blankets just like in the magazines BUT be aware that they only remain in that perfect state when the blanket is for display purposes only. Wool fibers are not woven so it will naturally pill/fuzz in a blanket, even if you lightly felt it. To avoid pilling and have a blanket for everyday use, you will need to felt the roving a good amount. YouTube is a great resource for some how-to videos. Generally speaking you felt with water, soap, heat, and agitation. We recommend a lot of felting if you can't stand fuzzy pills and slight to moderate felting if you are OK with some fuzz and prefer the fluffy/lofty blanket look.
Please see our shop policies before purchasing. We try to represent the colors as accurately as possible.
